If entering from the hospital carpark (off Birley Street), access the carpark elevator and choose Level 6. The Brisbane Orthopaedic Clinic is located in the main foyer, adjacent to the Brisbane Private Hospital check in desks. If entering from the Wickham Terrace entrance, the rooms are located to your right as you face the check in counter for Brisbane Private Hospital.
Parking
Undercover paid parking for patients and visitors is available in the Brisbane Private Specialist Centre car park off Birley Street.
If parking is unavailable at the onsite car park, please note the following car parks and street parking are available near the hospital (please see the attached map):
- Wilson Watkins Medical Centre Car Park can be accessed via Bartley St off Wickham Terrace.
- Wickham Terrace car park is located on the corner of Upper Edward St and Wickham Terrace and can be accessed from Turbot St and Creek St.
- Astor Terrace car park is located on 28 Astor Terrace.
Street metered parking is available on the surrounding streets of the hospital. They vary from 3 hours – 12 hours Monday – Friday 7am – 7pm (some offer the first 15 minutes free), please read the street sign for each area:
- Wickham Terrace and Albert Street.
- Berry Street, Birley Street, Lilley Street, Sedgebrook Street.
- Leichardt Street.
Transport Options
Brisbane Private Hospital provides a free courtesy bus for patients and visitors between the hospital and the main public transport stations in the CBD: Brisbane Transit Centre (Roma Street), Central Station (Ann Street, Palace Backpackers Hotel), King George Square Station (Roma Street, Pullman Hotel) and Queen St Bus Station / Myer Centre (Elizabeth Street Bus Stop 85). This service runs every half an hour in a direct loop Mondays to Fridays (except public holidays) from 6:30am – 3:00pm.
