Dr Doneley performs high volumes of primary, complex primary and revision total hip replacement surgery.
He undertook two post-graduate fellowships following his formal orthopaedic specialist training. He was the Hip Research Fellow (2012) at the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre located in Exeter, U.K. This fellowship was devoted exclusively to hip surgery and treatment of hip disease.
As such, Dr Doneley has very extensive sub-specialist expertise in hip replacement surgery and this remains an area of marked interest to him. He is an industry faculty member for training in hip replacement surgery techniques – he travels widely to instruct at hip replacement meetings and conferences (both domestically and internationally) and regularly hosts local and overseas surgeons who attend his rooms and theatre sessions to learn advanced hip replacement techniques.
